Library Services
1. Circulation Service and Open Access:
- Our library lends various reading materials such as textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals, Newspapers, CDs, question papers, syllabus etc. to our users.
- Students are given open access to the collection.
- Books and Periodicals Issue-Return Timetable is flexible as per students time.
- Annual Result – sheets are issuing to the students.
2. Reference Service:
- The library has collection of various reference books such as Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Yearbooks, and Geographical Information Sources such as Gazetteers, Maps and Atlases, Biographical Sources etc. to satisfy reference queries of users.
- Personal assistance is provided to the users to search information.
3. Display of New Books:
- Under this service library displays New Books in New Arrivals Book case.
4. Newspaper Clipping Service:
- Under this service news related to various activities, events, functions, days, programmes etc. organized in the college as well as news on achievements by the students and staff are accumulated and filed properly for further reference.
5. Reading Room Facility:
- Reading Room facility is available in the Library. New spacious building for reading room is in function with 300 seating capacities with cubicles for students, research students and Teachers.
- Separate Competition Examination Center is in function for preparation of various examinations for students.
6. Library Activities:
- Book Exhibitions & Book Review Competitions are arranges on Various Occasion.
- Library Orientation Program conducted every year for new students.
7. Internet Facility:
- Library has made available nine computers with broadband Internet connection to its users to search information from the huge collection available on web pages related to the curriculum and competitive examinations.
8. Suggestion and feedback Box:
- Suggestion box is available in the library. It helps to know students feedback on library services as well as their grievances.
9. Divyang Students facilities:
- A ramp is made available for physically disabled students.
- JAWS (Job Access With Speech) Screen reader Software is available for Blind Students
10. N-LIST Programme:
- The Library has joined N-LIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) Programme initiated by INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad. Under this Consortium the faculty member can access to 6000+ e-journals and 135000+ e-books of various renowned publishers.
